Well its a start at least

After getting laid off last year, its been 18 months since I've been fishing. I couldn't even touch my rods or tackle. I was outside yesterday and my wife brought a rod out to me and dared me to make a cast. I did and didn't have a backlash. Spent about 20 minutes pitching at things in the yard. IT FELT GOOD. Like they say,"Just like riding a bike". Baby steps I know but maybe, just maybe I'll get out this year.

I've been fishing all my life. I still to this day stand in the yard and practice casting. I like the smart alicks that will come by and say " How they bitin-catching anything", my standard response, NOPE should have been here yesterday though.

...but first! CHECK the batteries and connections!!!

We don't want to have to be starting all over again with the pep talk...
