I bought some early last season for froggin. Made literally 5 cast with it and there was green dyed water spots all over my reel from the line dye bleeding away. I thought it was very noisy through the guides too. Just my .02 I sold it and respooled with PP
I just went from useing power pro to the sufix 832 braid. I like the sufix way better then the power pro. JMHO

I use all Sufix stuff. Used to use the performance braid then switched to the 832. The 832 is the best braid I've ever used. Love the stuff.![]()
I use Tuf-Line XP from Western Filament.
Since your new to braid here are a few tips you may or may not already know.
You should probably put some mono on first for backing.
You may want to loosen your drag a bit to make up for lack of stretch especially with fast moving baits.
If you get hung up do not try to pull your lure free with your hands are you will get cut.
☺
Some guys collect baseball cards just to look at them, I collect fishing equipment and use it .

The dye settles down fairly quickly. I love the noise of braid going over the guides when a big fish is taking plenty of line. You should hear 50lb Braid with about 40lb of Yellowfin Tuna stripping it out.
Last fall found 3 spools of it at Dicks sporting goods on clearance for $5 a spool, but haven't tried it yet. Always used Power Pro in the past, but for the price couldn't pass it up. Never heard too much negative about it. I figure it's string, can't be too much too much difference between brands.![]()

I have only tried 3 braids.....and will rank em in order of my likes...1) Sufix 832 2) Power Pro and 3) Stren Braid. All of em was close but the 832 feels less stiff and bites in the spool less.
acadamy has it on sale for 14.99 right now. i tried some and its as good as pp ,maybe a little noisier than pp![]()

I was telling that to someone the other day in a mono v. braid v. fluor conversation. It's strange but I can feel huge differences between various brands of mono and fluoro but to me all braid feels pretty much the same. I use PP Slick and my wife likes the Spiderwire braid but I think if I closed my eyes and felt them I don't think I could tell the difference just by feel.
