    BPS Enigma reel

anyone use one?? The spring classic has it for 50% off. Looks interesting but haven't heard of anyone actually using one yet.

I'm interested on knowing the same thing. Thinking about getting a couple for the wife.

    Re: BPS Enigma reel (dchance)

Derek, I just bought one, before it went on sale ,The main difference in it and any other baitcaster is that the enigma has the tension knob by the handle, a centrifugal pin adjustment under the side plate, and a magnetic spool control on the left side plate. I got it for casting weightless plastics, and for someone that may not have very much experience with a baitcaster. The reel casts well just using the tension knog at the handle. As you start using the other tension controllers the casting distance will decrease. It is a good reel for the price, especially the half price sale.

definitely not a beginner with BC reels. The idea is neat, but don't want the "idea" to scrifice quality. Thanks for the report
