I received a package from a BBC member that I bought on here and the envelope was tore and the USPS service had stamped EMPTY in red with my Zipcode. Anyone ever had this happen and what are the options if any? a The cost for lures was only $15.00 but it is kinda aggravating not to get what you paid for.
I have heard of that happening often within the postal service. Probably not much can be done if you didn't buy insurance
In most cases I would believe the BBC'r before all the folks at the USPS that handled it. I bet it went thru several hands before it got to the guy that declared it "empty"

any packaging tape (not scotch tape) put on the outside of the pkg? And was it pkged. in a box or a padded mailer, I'd guess 6 packs of Senkos have a bit of weight so a small box would be my choice to ship out in. As far as getting them back, you will have to contact the Atlanta Mail Recovery center, just google that for the address, all inquiries have to be made in writing. This is where all contents seperated from pkges. are sent to.

I was missing an issue of Bassmaster magazine. The cover page of the magazine finally arrived alll crinkled up in a plastic bag from the post office. Somehow it got damaged and destroyed in shipping. It happens with the post office not often but it does.

Yea It was just in a thin white envelope non- padded. I would say the contents was too heavy for the packaging.
What colors were they? I have a few pkgs that I could send your way if they are the colors you want.

Who would ship a bag of plastics in something like that ? Much less 5 or 6 packs of Senkos. Thats just not using any common sense.

I too got a package marked empty ...... It was a freebe from another member. I have also gotten some stuff that I couldn't believe the way they sent it. Hooks not taped nor banded. Thin envelops..... I could tell they didnt give a chit if I got em or not.
(ps Most things that i've gotten was very well wrapped and boxed)

I did not ask the seller about adding insurance on the package because of low purchase price, but it may be something I start doing. The problem is that it is another added cost on top of paypal fees and shipping and by then you usually loose by the time those are paid for, but it is something that anyone buying or selling needs to think about.
