    JerryT!!!

You're not all bad! Thanks for the help. Probably the best the ol Exploder has run in years. 211,000 miles and running strong again! Simple maintenance for some... major overhaul for me

Just some simple maintenance. But yeah, the plugs were part of it. Ya ain't lived until you've changed the spark plugs on an Explorer . Doing it blind with you arms twisted into unnatural positions. It was a blast That and some other stuff. Nothing major. Jerry helped me identify what the problems most likely were, and he was right.

How big of a ladder did you need to reach them, or did you just climb into the engine compartment?

Yeah, on the back ones my legs were flailing around in the air. If anyone drove by it had to look like the truck was eating me

    Re: JerryT!!! (m.t.hands)

I just talked to Jerry. He told me the fix for the Explorer was an easy one. He told Joe how to add a couple 4x4 blocks to the gas pedal. The lack of power was due to short stubby legs that couldn't push the gas pedal down far enough.
