I have been wondering the same thing. It would be easy to bend three wires in half to form six arms.
Hopefully, someone will comment.
6 would just be overkill..........

My guess is the longer arm in the middle makes for an easy target. Looks like the weak one in the bunch.

The sad part about that picture is somewhere, someone has actually threw a bunch of A-Rigs hooked together like that while actually fishing.
I threw a 6 wire on Gville some one day. It seems to hang and not throw as good as 5 wire. I broke one off after 20 mins or so.
I've made a few for my own personal use by doubling 3 wires for 6 arms. I haven't had any problem with them and have caught a few fish on them.

I've been considering making a 4 wire just so it doesn't tangle so much...

Next years model will come with a Tazer system...Just get within 6 feet of a fish and they float to the surface![]()

Colreb has one already.

That seems to be too much work - dynamite is the ticket.![]()
I've made 3 to 6 wire and fish 3 wire most of the time. Seems to catch as many fish without foul hooking as many and you don't loose as many swimbaits if you loose one. 5 wire sells better than 6 wire.![]()
