28" ML rod, 1/32 fiskas jig(no longer than a thumbnail including the length of the hook) 4lb line. For the soufers, I'm on the ice crappie fishing and this was the 1st fish of the day.
41" 17lb 10oz. Took almost 20 minutes to get her to the hole. Good think my buddy was right there with the gaff to lip her or I don't hink I would have got her up through the hole.

WOW! Great catch. My largest is 46 inches, 25 pounds caught on 6 pound line and a fly and rind while smallie fishing. But, I had the advantage of being able to follow the fish with the trolling motor. How the heck did you not get spooled, several times?
