    Electronic Ignition

    I just got my boat back today from the shop and the guy told me that my electronic ignition is getting a little weak and if and when it goes out that it would be better to just replace my motor. Is this true or could I possibly do that on my own when the time comes? The motor is a 1997 Evinrude Fingerport.
