I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna stockpile 6 months worth of food since i don't eat processed food. I might need to raise a couple cows in my basement.

I've got a years supply of deer bratwursts, a bow with three "usable" arrows, a shotgun in desperate need of a cleaning, and two vicious attack bassett hounds. I think I'm ready!

How are you gonna keep those fresh after the power goes out?

Am i wrong or would you want your compound to be able to keep more than a 22 round from puncturing it??

I don't, but my friend's dad does. It is insane, he has a whole room in his basement full of canned food and water.

My compound is designed to keep out laughter and cynical stares from the neighbors.

I like the guy living in the storage containers and he thinks the continents are going to shift after these massive earthquakes that are supposed to happen. He has about 20 years worth of food stored in glass jars on shelves so it looks to me like all he's going to have is a buncha broken glass and spoiled food after the earthquakes.

Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Agreed, but I think their rationale was that the 22 round is the most common round. I wonder what kind of firepower those ocean containers can withstand.

The 22 seemed to put a pretty good dent in it from distance...Cant imagine it would take much more before you are laying on the floor of that container

I'm all about being prepared but this show just doesn't do it for me. I tried.

I have a few weeks worth of stores and enough weaponry to kill at least 100 people who may try something. but not anything like a malitia man might have.
