I've had some bad ones but not that bad! It's amazing to me that people will just abandon nearly all their things. Only thing I could do is call for a roll off dumpster and pack all the crap out and start over. Being a landlord sucks for so many reasons, this being one of them.

In all my years of working EMS, I have been in some really nasty homes. I can only think of one that would top that!

my last ones were bad but not quite that bad..
put all new appliances in the house before they moved in.
washer, dryer, stove, fridge, dishwasher.. all of em are junk.
scratches, dents, staines. dont know what the hell it was but wont clean up..
carpet was trashed in the whole house. they were in it 3 years..
house has been empty now for 2 years. im keepin it that way
might just tear it down and put a shop on that lot.

Yep had to evict a family that wasn't paying rent, found the inside the house to be close to this. Ended up tearing down the house. She worked at local hospital and had a teenage son in high school. About a year later they applied for some type of loan and used my name as a reference. I don't think they got the loan. Some people

Some ppl break down to the basic of animal behavior. It's the lack of going that extra step, that extra "I'm gonna do this now, not later"
It usually happen slowly and they never see it.

My sister that lives with me here is headed that way. Room walls are so bad you can write letters on them with your finger. I dont go in her room which is in such a shape it's a shame. They are not crazy enough to have committed but they cannot be controlled. It's a fight just to throw stuff away.

It is a 24hr job for me to keep up the rest of the house. As I get old I see that I will be in a terrible situation. The stress of this hurts me deeply. Time will tell what is gonna happen. I will prolly move to my own place and just let her destroy my childhood home.
