23 years of a wonderful partnership have flew by. This includes 20 years of deployments and long work days in the submarine force as well as putting up with my severe addiction to tournaments and bass fishing, moving all over the country and a bout with cancer. All of it has made us stronger. I couldn't have asked for a better life partner and soul mate.
When we got married, I was an E3. We rented a one bedroom apartment and we didn't even have a bed. We had a hand me down sectional sofa given to us from a friend and at night when we would go to bed, we'd take the cushioins off the sofa and put them in the floor in the bedroom and put bed sheets on them. Those early days we were poor but we had great times. It really seems like the time has flown by but we are still having fun and still feel like newly weds. I just wanted to share this with my BBC buddies.
