    Proud of my Boy!!

    My son had a stroke at birth left him with VERY limited use of one arm................fast forward.........today he has aced tying his shoe..........with ONE hand!!! I don't even think I could do that. Very proud of him

    Seriously - I got tears in my eyes when my son learned to tie his shoe. I can't imagine him overcoming something like your son has - you have to be the proudest dad in the world!

    That's awesome! That's just the beginning, you will be amazed at the stuff he will be able to do going forward.
    I met a man in califorina, who had one arm.....from the min. I met him....i was amazed at all the thing's he could do. I tried to do some of them and I just got frustrated. After knowing him for a month or so, I did'nt even notice anymore that he only had one arm!!! I looked at him and all I saw was Gus.

    The only thing I had to help him do was tie his tie.
    He refused to wear a clip on.
