    Survival Truck?

I took my truck in for service this evening and cleaned it out before leaving it at the dealer. I always said I could live in my truck in an emergency. Here's what I took out of it: 2 sets of 2 way radios, 50 batteries, GPS, survival kit, first aid kit, 6 bottles of water, 2 one gallon bags of trail mix, two coats, 2 pair of insulated pants, 6 pair of gloves, a box of rubber gloves, 4 knives, 2 knife sharpeners, a turkey call, 2 rain suits, 4 emergency ponchos, 2 fire starters, 1 pistol, 1200 rounds of ammo and a pair of sunglasses. I think I could make it for a few days if I had to. My wife asked me why I needed all that stuff in my truck and I had no answer for her except that I should clean my truck out more often.
I think I'll name my truck the war wagon or something catchy like that.

That's what mine looks like most of the time, too. Right now I have enough gear in it to spend a week in the deer woods or duck blind. Always makes me nervous when I have to enter the local military base. I clean it out before I go, but shotgun shells and rifle ammo have a way of hiding.

    200 lbs lighter now !

Actually I keep all my fishing/hunting warm gear(not guns nor Rods/reels) in my truck all the time and some water. No food ...... attracts ants.
