Nature of the beast. You can get some Marine Tex and mix it up and dab it over ALL the bowls where the BB's are or install new carb bowls. Marine tex is cheaper.
a small very short sheet metal screw with a o ring works pretty well also.
I thought of putting the stuff you make gaskets out of that comes in a tube or punching out a small rubber plug and putting it in there

what using about JB Weld?
Try it needs to be tolerant to gasoline.
I used marine tex and it fixed my perfectly.
J&B weld does not hold up to gasoline,Marine Tex does,Chris
