    Plug wires

Have a 1993 Evinrude 200 XP and have had to repair two plug wires . I would like to go ahead and buy a new set to put on , but my lucal Rude dealer says all he has is the wire kit (you have to put them together, ends, terminals) I waws wondering if you can get the pre-made set somewhere??? I dont want to fool with putting a new set together!! Will automotive wires work??? Or do any auto part stores carry marine wires????

Set the HOOK!!! They ain\'t got pockets!!!

See if the dealer will assemble them for you. It's pretty easy to do.

The plug wire kit comes with instructions... AND grease!

They are easy to assemble, but like I tell every customer who buys a kit, "you're gonna bleed!"

Amazingly, some come back bragging about how they put all six together without loosing a drop of blood and I tip my ETEC hat to them.

A quality pair of needle nose pliers with "teeth" on the jaws are necessary to make quick work of assembly. Also, don't make them all long, rather cut them to fit each cylinder and you won't have extra wire hangin' out there to snag on the hood latches (biggest reason to replace plug wires by far is damage from removing/replacing the hood).
