    Accidently arched the TM battery?

So I was installing the new TM batts and was tighening one of the nuts and the back end of the wrench handle touch the opposite post for a split second and it arched. Battery seems fine and worked an is taking the charge just fine. ......Did I do any damage?

use a ratchet and extension next time I think everybody has done that at least once. I did that with a wrench working with a 3 phase 240 volt system once

Yep... I know a guy that got his wedding ring inbetween the two terminals on a solenoid while holding a wrench that was grounded and it roasted a ring all the way around his finger. Nasty looking

saw someone do that once with a screwdriver on a 3 phase. Threw him back about 15 feet against a machine. I was surprised to see him get up so easily actually.

and you wonder why OSHA was formed ?

seriously, glad youre ok...you just did what is know as a 'load bank' test...albeit not really a controlled test,

most likely the battery is ok, if its taking a charge.....

insulated tools and protective eyewear are good things to have around when working with batteries....

You might want to go on sick call in the morning and get your nerves checked out cause I know that scared the shit out of ya.

BTW, the battery should be fine.

Man you're lucky there was any gas fumes in there. We would've had another man on the moon.
