    spring predictions

well as most realize this winter has been extremly mild,at least in the midwest.so im thinking that unfortunatly well end up paying the price this spring with colder than normal temps lingering into may.i hope im wrong but we NEVER get this lucky in the chicago area.

All I know is if it doesn't get cold here and cool the gulf down A LOT we are going to have one hell of a hurricane season.

Here in North Louisiana Mother Nature already thinks it's Spring. The bass are in 1-4 ft. of water and the daffodils in my yard are blooming a month ahead of normal.
i'll just enjoy it while it lasts.

It may well cause some hurricanes to develop earlier than they normally do.

Long Spring is fine with me. The frying pan will be turned on about the end of May anyways.

I have severe allergies, and it seems i'm not even going to get my couple of months break from them. I too have flowers coming up way early, just pointed them out to the wife yesterday.

    Re: spring predictions (gcopple)

We've had about 7in of snow so far, usually we have in 30-40in range by now. I'm scared as there are many seepage and drainage lakes that may suffer from low runoff. We will need a cooler wetter spring to replace the water we are not getting right now.

    Re: spring predictions (teeboy)

If it goes anything like the last few years here in Indiana. We'll have 2 weeks of spring, then 90 degree summers. But that's fine with me.

    Re: spring predictions (hanker71)

I agree 100%. I think the winter is gonna last til mid april. Then the temps will go from very cold to very warm, and then back to cold w/snow.
June will be like may. July like June. So on and so forth.
