    Cleaning Merc Pro XS canvas motor cover...

    Got a Merc 250 Pro XS canvas motor cover with my 2012 Triton. I have had to store the bout outside the past 4 months and now the cover is faded out with what looks to be mildew like streaks. Anyone ever cleaned yours? If so, what cleaners did you use? Can you use Armour All like products to restore the rich black color of the canvas?

    No Armoural, it migth look good for a while but it's bad for that type of material, call the manufacturer, I'm sure they'll say mild detergent, dawn dish liquid. sun damage is not reversible.

    Not a fan of engine covers, the new cowlings are very easy to scratch.
