Has anyone had to draw their concealed carry?

About two months ago I was on my way to work and two guys tried to car jack me. (s.o.b's startled me and made me drop my doughnut). I was the first vehicle at the red light so I just drove of. My question is has anyone had to draw their weapon?

Driving through Memphis one night. Stopped at a light and had a guy try to open my drivers side door on me. I pulled out my big mag light waved my fist and cussed real loud. Must have scared cause he run off. I was luck he wasn't packing.

Twice. The first time at an ATM, the guy ran off, wetting his pants in the process. Second time in a parking lot, hispanic man blocked my truck in a spot as I parked, I got out and he came toward me with a knife, yelling in spanish, I have no clue what he was saying, but he quickly retreated when I drew the 1911 and pointed it at him. He got in his vehicle and drove off. Dumb A$$ brought a knife to a gun fight.

Re: Has anyone had to draw their concealed carry? (mike t)

One time while sitting on my truck-tailgate waiting for some friends to show up for dinner at a restaurant. Three guys approached me trying to start trouble. I asked them to leave and they persisted so I pulled my gun, pointing it at the ground. I told them if they took one more step this would turn out real bad, luckily they left. I was always taught never pull a gun unless you plan on using it, I'm just glad I didn't have to use it.

    Didn't need to...

I've never had to do that, and hope I never do. Roddy, here on the BBC has had to do that. His story was a pretty tense situation.

My wife and I took a hike in the woods behind our house on christmas day. We were walking down the old logging road when she told me to stop and listen. I heard nothing so one we go. Another couple steps and she says STOP. We both here this growl. Both guns came out in a split second (practice practice practice) and we started backing up the logging road. Never saw the animal but have been hearng coyotes so we are figuring we got too close to one that was either bed down or had some food he did not want to share..... What an adrenaline rush... I can now see why people can make big mistakes when they draw their weapon.

Re: Has anyone had to draw their concealed carry? (mike t)

    Yes, actually three times.
Two were on my surface mine property in Eastern Kentucky. I popped in one night, as I was driving through. At that time we were idle and didn't really have anything valuable sitting around aside from some parts for a loader and a couple tires. Both were extremely heavy lol., I don't know how those clowns thought they could steal anything that weighs over 3 tons.
Anyway, I noticed tracks in the dust and followed them. I called 911 on the way up the road and explained the scenario. As I pulled up, two out of three started almost jogging to get to my truck. At that point I just stepped out, identified myself and stuck a 40 cal in their faces. Thank God the police showed up soon. It was super intimidating holding three people at gunpoint waiting on the police.

Once, I was going for a walk and some jerk had his unchained cujo of a rotweiller outside and the friggin thing started chasing me. Luckily my fat ass made the top of some guys cadillac before I became food. I sat there for close to an hour before the dog retreated. The dog was lucky that day. A few more hours up on the Cadillac and he would of been toast.
