How many have give up their land line and use only cell phone?

With everything digital or satellite now thinking about giving up the land line.Would like to know the pros and cons if you have any.The home phone rarely gets used except for telemarketers and a savings of around 50.00 bucks a month which isn't allot of money but could buy a few baits over a period of time. Thanks

Wife and I did that at the house we rented for a few years, but we can't do that in our current house that we own. There are far too many trees, so our service isn't always great, and we have dropped calls every now and then. Not on my smart phone (iphone) but my wife's older phone, she can't get a reliable signal. So, until I can drop more trees, the land line stays.

However We still use it for DSL but thats it. no phone calls In or out on it. They say it's only another $10 per month though

Additional cell phone is $9.99 per month.....so it dont matter except you can't text on a land line but thast only $5 a month anyway

Never had a land line until I moved a couple months ago. Only reason I have it now is it was included in my Comcrap package. Once the promo runs out, it's gone. Never use it.

If your cell phone signal is spotty in and around your house, the only real con to not having a land line is 911 might not be there if you need it.

My wife and I had a landline before we moved last year, but decided against getting one at the new place....It has worked out great for us so far. We don't pay the $50 or so a month and when a cell phone rings, you know who the person on the other end wants to speak with. Also, we do not get the telemarketer calls we got with the landline. We haven't really found any cons since getting rid of the landline.

Have a land line just so I can internet through AT&T, never use it. Sometimes answer it cuz the only people who know the number are telemarketers and its fun to play with them a little bit.
