the times daily is the local paper Florence al. also courier journal, is weekley. Muscle Shoals may not show any acerage try Colbert county , cities and towns, Tuscumbia, Barton area and Cherokee are west on hwy.72 on south side of river. On north side of river is florence ( Laurdale county) west of florence is waterloo and white oak area. East of Florence will be near Wilson lake ST. Florien, Killen, Center star. Elgin,Rogersville Elk River Clements area, Wheeler lake. Clements being about 30 min from ramps near Wilson dam on Pickwick. Hope this helps.With all the Lakes in the area you could choose any of these areas and a few more and be in close driving to many great fiishing lakes and 2 to 2 1/2 hours puts you on guntersville. Check out Bear creek water shed lakes and Smith lake.
