The trim/tilt switch stopped working this weekend. I can trim the motor down but not up. The switch on the side of the motor still works. The motor is a 2004 Evinrude D.I. and still under warranty. Does anyone know if the controls are included is the warranty? Thanks
If the switch on the side of the motor works up and down, it won't be the relays, it will be the switch on the box or the connections coming from it to the engine. Both switches use the same relays. Post the model and serial #.
Ditto, take it to the shop, it is a warranty item.
