    Apollo 18

Anyone see this movie? I rented it on Itunes and it said it was from actual declassified footage of a moon mission that never happened. I'm not sure if this a a crackpot film or if someone stumbled onto something. I may need to put the science fiction books and movies down and stick with fishing shows because my head is starting to hurt from thinking too much. Just wondered if anyone had seen it and what their impressions were of this film.

It seemed pretty similar to that. A lost footage film. But would it be that surprising if there was another moon mission we never heard about (minus the aliens)?

Of course it's real. In fact they are putting the finishing touches on their new film to be released in April. Here's the subject matter.

How do you figure that reply is pompous? I was suggesting that its not that far fetched that NASA at some point returned to the moon without our knowledge be it one of the various shuttle missions or a "satelite launch". During the late 70's and early 80's the government was strongly supporting Star Wars technology so a repeat trip to the moon for that purpose would not have been out of the question. My point in the reply was not that they found aliens there but that the movie made a good point regarding whether there were any subsequent missions to the moon we never were told about. It may have happened in the 70's (as the movie suggested) or later but given each countries ambition of claiming new areas it certainly wouldn't surprise me in the least if we have equipment there be it through manned or unmanned flight.

It also wouldn't be that far fetched to think that any rocks or other material harvested outside the planet could contain a threat of some type of contagion. Scientists still debate whether certain virsuses are alive because they can enter a crystalline state at some point. I thought the movie had some interesting "food for thought" and maybe they did find evidence in declassified material that at some point a return trip happened. Just because we don't know about it doesn't mean it didn't happen. After all we were told we never had troops in Cambodia or Laos during much of the Vietnam War but it sure doesn't mean they weren't there.
