    Stockton Lake

Has anyone fished Stockton Lake lately? Just wondering if anyone had any pointers or thoughts on what would be a good approach down there. Thanks

hey havent fished it lately but this time of year jig on long points and bluffs i fish hawker point and fish the boat ramps with a jig and also cranks can be good or deep diving cranks of the same points u throw a jig at and any deep brush. and on shollow points u throw a square bill at maybe try a lipless crank louder the better i like xccalibur my self in the 50 size and ghost color. and when in doubt trig a big worm or shaky head a finess worm green pumpkin seems to work best in my opinion

Spook early or with cloud cover all day....Big worm on a 1/2 or 3/4 oz ledge hopper type jighead... 20ft brushpiles on the flats (shollower on the upper end) and on the long flat points.... Try the humps in 20 FOW with brush on them that can be aweful good sometimes as well.... good luck
