    pool 13 6/29

dead sea- hardly any movement of bait, gills or bass. I took a friends kid out with me hoping to whack some numbers of any sized bass. I caught 6 keeper and no shorts, he got a keeper and a northern. It was very slow, I think a guy could have flipped slowly or thrown a senko with more success. I dont know if it was post spawn, cold night or what but it was odd. I dont think i saw a shad or minnow or gill all day

Holy CHIT!!!! Someone besides me posted a report!!!

Sorry to hear it was slow. Gonna brave the intense heat tomorrow and head up to 14 and maybe 13 if time allows. Then it's off to Sugema for a whole week.

That sucks JJ. I heard it has been real tough and the fish are kind of half ass biting everything. I have a tournament this weekend so I'll be out fri,sat and sun and I'm hoping its better than what you said. I did good last weekend, but not good enough.

Joe....will be interesting to see how you do on Sugema. I have heard mixed reports with the poisoning. Seems like the walleyes were hardest hit. Fished a Team Supreme there a couple of weeks ago. Took 14lbs to win, I think they had 4 over 18 inches, next in line had 3 over 18". I took third with just one over 18". Out of 10 boats 4-5 did not have a keeper over 18". Big bass was 4.2lbs. I caught probably 10 fish 15"-17" throughout the day. The water was way high, all the rock jetties were about 2 feet under water. You would of thought that big fish would of been shallow, but caught most of my better fish in 8'-10' of water on a jig.

Not to hijack...but thanks for the report on that Team Supreme. I know there were about 6 -8 of the normal boats that didnt show for that (including myself).

I figured it would be really tough down there given the water conditions and the poisoning. Not sure how that has effected bass...I know really big walleye were killed by the dozens.

I am surprised there were 10 boats. there. Must have had a few locals that decided to fish.
