I heard this week...but...with all the rain...I highly doubt it. Just checked it and says 14' in a week. Steady decline every day. I dont see how with all the rain.

I think they're getting ready to drop the rollers again. Everything is supposed to level out or rise just a hair. We were "scheduled" to drop to about 8 feet by this weekend but now they'r showing us levelling out at 11 feet.

It's a shame what has happened to this pool since 2008. Hopefully this is cyclic and it will get the grass back at some point.

I had a great time 2008 after the flood. Caught 15-17lbs almost any time I went out. But starting in 2009 it was crap.

I even caught some good smallies on the main channel after 2008 flood. Havent caught one since.

    Check this out.http://www2.mvr.usace.army.mil/Water...fid=LNSI4&dt=S

click on forecast. Lancing pool 9. Looking at a 2 1/2 foot rise by 6/27/11.

My best guess is that it will end up at Pool 19 sooner or later.

We had 7 inch of rain in Victory, Wi. Saturday. LAX had over 5 1/2 inchs of rain. 4 inch in 2 hours. Its muddy up here.

+100000 I used to LOVE fishing the weeds on the lower end of the pool, it was a blast.

Wish you had not got me started on this topic again Joe . Ridiculous that they can drop the river 4-6' below the Keokuk dam and our pool and all above drop a foot or two. It is just dispicable how the corps is managing the river. Open all the gates except Keokuk and flood pool 19 is their plan.

My best guess is it will be August before we get the water down and cleaned up. The entire year last year was at or just below flood stage most of the entire year. I still hope the Keokuk dam caves into the river very soon.

I don't think we can count on evaporation helping us much the next few days. What fudged up year as far as weather.... this SUCKS!!!
