Thinking of heading up there saturday. Any good?
its been tough. There is good fish around, but the river is lower about 8ft right now and 2 weeks ago it was 18ft so its been dropping pretty steadily and now its normal river level for the summer.
Is there any grass left? I haven't been up there since the high water. I sure hope we don't have the same result as pool 19 has had with the high water.

the good news is that there is some grass left. Alot of the areas that had high current got thinned out pretty good, but most of the backwaters still have good grass and duck weed. The water was still high last time I was out and really muddy so it was hard to tell around the lower end of the pool if all the eel grass was still there or not. I'm sure a lot of is gone for the year. The pads are all dead. Its looks like october out there right now.
So any updates on 13? I'm looking to throw in at Mickelson's this Saturday, haven't been over at all this year, and need all the help I can get!

Gonna be a heck of a lot different now than the last time I was there. Flooding seems to be done for the year, only took us all the way through august to get past it
. Let us know how ya do. I fished 12 last weekend and it SUCKED!
13 is still a little tough but improving. Weeds held up better than I thought they would. Flow is still stronger than I was expecting and color is still a little off. Getting better everyday and closer to normal.
I'll let everyone know what I find. I plan on fishing it at least 1 day this 4 day weekend so hopefully I can find something going on. This cooler weather has to help a little bit.
