Made it out today for about three hours. Knocked the soup out of them on chatterbaits and buzzbaits. Found fish shallow (2 to 3 feet) around submerged stumps and laydowns. Current was a little on the fast side but not too bad. Aw who the hell am I fooling? Just felt like I needed to post something. It's COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD!!!!
I made it out Sat morning before the winds came. 20 gills, 10 crappies,2 perch,5 yellows and a small pike and a 3 lb LM. brought home 14 panfish and had a nice little fish fry that night. Picked up some 8lb ice braid to use in the quarry the day after Christmas, hoping for a 7lbr there.
