Cabela's Advanced Anglers ProSeries 20 Three Bank On-Board Marine Battery Charger 332

Installed this yesterday and put in on charge , 13 hours later its still charging , I replaced a factory skeeter charger that only took maybe 8 hours at most to charge my batteries, reason I replaced it was I went to a 24 volt trolling motor. My question is how long should it stay red indicating its charging, my batteries should have been very close to being fully charged when I pluged up the new charger , charged them a few days before with the skeeter charger , which was two bank , and i went to three bank with the new cabela's charger, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not familiar with the Cabela's chargers but just as a general rule you should have reached full charge in just a couple of hours. If its been 13 hrs, I'd be double checking all the connections. Make sure they are all making good contact. Somethin' ain't right for sure.

If you have 24 volt you have 2 batteriea in series....do you have both of those batteries hooked to their own leads from the charger?

    It shouldnt take that long.

I took a look at the charger on Cabelas site. Looks like it's a low amp per bank charger. Somewhere around 6-7 amps per bank. Nothing wrong with that, it will take a longer time to charge them up.
