    Aftermarket Reeds??

    Have a 85 Ranger 350 w/ 150 yamaha YZR Package ( 220 carbs W /double reeds and milled heads) swings a 14 1/2 x26 prop 5600 rpm w/ 2.0 lower unit (pro v) 65/66 GPS , Are aftermark reeds worth the bucks for my rig ?? I don't want something I will need to change every year or so. ????

    Carbon Fiber reeds are the way to go. Improved rpm, hole shot, and mid-range. Plus they are super strong. They were developed in our race engines that turned 9600 rpm. So no worries about reliability.
