    Those of you with bigger sprints..

    What prop are you running....i have a 25p on my 225 on my 207 pro tournament. My mechanic said he figured i should have 26-27.

    What engine?? I believe the merc and yammies run a taller gear on their l/u My Evinrude is running a 1.86-1 ratio and I'm turning a 26 Raker or 27 Gade to 5700 rpms.

    The 24 Raker will make that rig scream outta the hole, but ya need to watch the R's on top end. It will turn 6000 easy on top. You could work the 25 to give good hole shot if that is the problem...or go with a 24 raker with a little extra cup. The DI engines will carry the 25-26 props better.
