    HydroTec lightweight cowlings???noisy

    I am considering a lightweight cowling for my ox66 saltwater series 250. Do they make the noise from the engine alot more noticeable? I have a flats boat and sit in the back close to the motor and am wondering if I will be able to hear myself think!...and if any of you have pics of you 3.1 litre cowlings, Please post them

    I have one on a 96' 2.6 litre 200 with a phase 2 kit and I dont notice any additional noise.
