    High Hours?

    Hey guys, any input would be appreciated and many thanks in advance.

    Looking to buy a boat with a '04 225 HPDI. Was told the motor has approximately 300 hours on it. Would that be considered a high amount of hours. Other than getting a compression check is there anything else I should ask the dealer for?

    No that is actually low hours for a 2004. Ask the dealer for warranty history to be sure the oil pump updates have been done.

    I popped my '06 HPDI 250 @ approx. 600 hours, Dave Ashcroft the "yamaha guru" said that was the expectancy, so according to him your half way there.
