I have ran into a issue with my 2003 OX66 225. Long story short I was out Sunday and my low oil buzzer and light came on and went into limp mode so I thought It was just low on oil. So today went out with tank full and same thing happened as soon as I took off. I pulled the cover and tried to pump the tank on the moter mannually and I could hear the pump but it would not fill the tank. What is the chance the lift pump on the big tank could be bad?

Most likely the filter is clogged. It is located on the bottom of the remote tank in the boat. You will have to unbolt the tank and pull it out of the boat to access the filter. Pick one up and replace, don't try to rinse with gas. It will clog back up again before the end of the season, they are cheap!

No sweat, dealt with this same issue a few years back and wound up figuring it out on my own. I did rinse it with gas but the following season it clogged again. Getting ready to fix a seal on my tilt tube this weekend and install my new 898, good times!
