Has anyone used the Mallory replacement low pressure fuel pumps instead of the Yamaha ones? It just seems like Yami cannot get these pumps to last.

I have seen Yamaha fuel pumps last for 6 years +.
the ethanol is what eats the rubber inside the pumps. get rid of that and they will last forever. mine are original though. may change them next spring just to do it.

Kinda hard to get rid of ethanol in Indiana. Nothing else is available.
Continuous use of Yamalube Fuel Stabilizer & Conditioner PLUS is supposed to help with these issues.
If you are not using it, You should!
