I think you will see a 300HP SHO in the states soon. I do not think it is a big deal to make 300HP with 4 liters a little porting and a differant ECU bigger air intake. It will be 330HP to the crankshaft 300HP to the prop. It will burn a little more gas.
The current 300hp offshore is the same sho power head.
