2000 150 HPDI Question...

I'm posting this for a friend of mine. He has the option to get this motor at a fair deal but would like some information on it. I believe this is the first year Yamaha came out with the HPDI, is this something to be concerned with? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Good motor. Have it checked including a compression check. It’s still running today so that’s saying something.
