With the puller attached and tight, tap the center bolt that centers on the crank.

Tried that and no go, put a little more pressure on it and threads left go.
Rent a puller from Auto Zone etc.... for free. I think I used the harmonic balancer puller.

If all else fails.....
Here's an old trick I use to use on old stuck steam pipes..
Heat the fly wheel with a torch... NOT the center shaft,,, I am assuming you removed the nut and washer...![]()
Get a candle and melt (sweat) the candle wax into the shaft/flywheel joint. Be SLOW and patient... Will come right off!
Let me know if this works for you. Others were amazed at this technique which was taught to me by another old timer!

The wax sounds like a cool trick. I am going to have to remember that when pulling steering wheels and things like that.
Thanks.
I will try that.
I went to sears to buy another puller and as I pass thru the store there are 3-4 sales people at every register hanging out looking to attack. So I make it to the tool section without being attacked, and find no pullers in stock just a sticker "see sales associate", oh boy here we go. So I check out some other stuff and aproach the register and there all gone![]()
So a young fellow shows up and asked if I needed help, so I told him and he says " I dont know Ill find someone" I realize as he scampers off he is in training. So 2 of them return to tell me they are ordered but wont be here for 2 weeks.
I just shake my head and walk away.
Put penetrating oil around the shaft and let it sit for a while. Bring the puller up to the max pressure you think you can put on it, using a 1/2" impact. Take a piece of hardwood and set it on the flywheel toward the outside of the wheel and tap it with a heavy hammer. Then move it over some and do it again. Work your way all the way around the flywheel. You should hit the sweet spot and knock it loose somewhere around the circle.
