    95 225 Yamaha / COMPRESSION/

    What should the compression be in the motor?

    The most important thing is to have uniform compression across all cylinders. If I remember correctly, you should not have more than a 10% deviation across any cylinder. I wouldn't be afraid of a motor with 105 across all 6 cylinders. Anything less than that I would think longevity would be the concern. JMHO
