One question about trim swich

The engine: E250DPXSOC # 5090624

ì`ve a problem with my trim ,once you put the boat on plane ,the down button(tnt)(eletronic) doesn`t work ,unless you put in the neutral position .Is there anything should i look instead of replace the button on the remote control binacle single lever?.
btw the switch on the engine works perfect.

Sounds like the wire in the handle is making an open circut when it's in gear. You could put it into neutral warm up and try it, that way you won't have to run it. Make sure the wires aren't pulling out of the connectors when throttled up. If all else fails, new switch and wire assembly may be in order.
