Is the footprint of an HPDI the same as an OX66? I found a decent, low hour 250 HPDI for sale and I'm tossing the idea around of upgrading. I'd like an F250, but cost and the mount being different is making that kinda hard. I'd need to get pull the OX off, get the transom filled at the fiberglass shop, then hang the 4 stroke on it. The HPDI is the next best thing.

When I got my HPDI to replace my ox66, it took the shop guys about an hour to swap them. I watched em do it....
Thanks, I was hoping hoping it was a direct swap. I keep getting the urge to repower, but haven't taken the plunge yet. I'm trying to see if I'd ever recoup the cost of a newer motor.

If weight is your concern on your transom, the HPDI is actually heavier than the SHO 4 stroke. My 200 HPDI weighs 540 lbs, its a heavy sucker.
