Mine is also making oil. Changing the oil befor I use it again but it has 20 hours on it. Anyone have any new info on this issue? What should I do about it?

IÂm sure Fly will comment soon on what to do. Probably tell you to not worry about it and just run it hard. He may also tell you how great the world class engineers at Yamaha are. Probably squeeze in a game changer comment as well.![]()
IMO you need to change the oil at any sign of contamination and have your dealer verify the problem.
I would contact your dealer and make them aware of the issue before I changed the oil. If you're close to the dealer you bought it from then I would take it back to them, let them look into the issue and if nothing else call Yamaha directly and report it. The more people that turn in reports of this the better the odds of Yamaha getting more involved with a solution to it.
Listen to the wise advise from Stratos21XL and DO not listen to anyone who does not do dedicated work on the VmaxSHO. Take it do a dealer.
