Lower Unit Question for a Yamaha Dealer/Mechaninic

I need a complete lower unit for a 2001 Yamaha VMAX 225 OX66. The model number is VX225TLRZ. The serial number is 66K L 304177 S. Will other year models fit my engine? Will a lower off an HPDI fit. Please offer some info. Need help ASAP.

HPDI lower unit will fit. Other year VMAX OX66 lower units like yours will also fit.

All of the 3.1L and 3.3L motors lower units will fit. The HPDI LU will need the 4 ss stud kits available at hydrotech. Be aware of the different gear ratios. 1.81 and 1.75's are your options.
