Educate me about oil injection

My old 1993 Yamaha 85HP I just premixed 50:1. My new 2002 150 Vmax carbed has an oil reservoir in the gas/battery compartment, and also a smaller oil reservoir on the motor itself. Looks like the motor reservoir also has a switch, presumably to transfer oil from the main tank to the small tank? Anything special I need to do to operate this thing, other than keep the main reservoir with oil in it?

nope. just add to the big tank. the switch on the motor i think is in case the oil pump fails? the motor draws from the little tank but it is fed from the big tank if that makes sense.
