Is there any way to get more speed out of my 2005 200h.p. 3.1L VMAX? It is on a 2005 Skeeter TZX200 running 65mph GPS with a 26p Solas 3 blade.

How fast are you running at what rpms? Have you tried a 27M Pro Series?

Seriously, call Hydro Tech...
Glad to see that was taken as meant!!! Just pulling of the leg so to speak! Call HT.
I have the same boat but a 3.1L HPDI
I am running. 25p. T-1
I can hit 69.1 at 6000rpm on a pretty regular basis with a light load
With a partner and tournament load it will still push 66-67

I have everything you need for sale 27m prop and Hydro tec Phase 3 parts
I would say your problem right now is your prop from the very little information you gave us, and maybe your engine setup. You don't need to call Hydrotech unless you want to put high performance parts on that motor to get more speed. But, if high performance parts is what you want then those are the guys to call. Otherwise, take a look at the Skeeter forum and see what other guys are running that has a similar boat and motor to yours. That will give you an idea of what you should be looking at. You definitely have a few more mph to pick up from what I have heard guys running with similar boat/motor combo. A different prop can make a world of difference though. But, for anyone to help you we need more info like jackplate size, height of engine, etc.
The Rod Glove Pro Staff
225 ecu and throttle arm and you got a 225hp. This with a good prop should put you close to mid 70s gps. But why you want to go so fast if you are a Crappie Predator?![]()

What is a ecu. I like to go fast too. I guide Crappie fishing and I fish Crappie and Bass tournaments. When the big motor is running I ain't fishing so I want to get there as fast as I can LOL.
Oops.Sorry, for some reason I thought you had a 200 HPDI 3.3L
Get you a better prop and raise the jack plate a little.
