2004 HPDI Series 1 processor and multi function digital gauges

My brother was wondering if the 2004 HPDI Series 1 is NMEA 2000 compliant. Are there digital gauges that can access the Series 1 engine related data? If so is there a Yamaha Command Link Multifunction style gauge or Lowrance Multifunction LMF style digital gauge that will work with a 2004 HPDI Series 1 motor.

Nope 2005 and newer only.

I just learned the 250HPDI he purchased just had new power head and it's a Series 2. However, it did not come with a Series2 ECU. He learned he can add it but at a very high cost. Is there a place that sells used ECU's forthe Series 2 so he can take full computer related benefits of his motor?
