Last time I ran the 150 everything was running fine untill I pinned its ears back wide open. It started missing, but at mid range and idle everything is just fine. Any suggestions? I was thinking bad gas?![]()

Sounds like bad gas or spark plugs needs changed out.
Fuel filter would be my first place to look. They need the most fuel at WFO and need much less at cruising speed.
If the simple stuff doesn't fix it, tear the carbs off and clean and rebuild them. That's what I had to do.
Probably wouldn't hurt to change out the fuel pumps if that hasn't been done in a couple of years. It's simple on these motors and they will cause all kinds of little hesitation problems at WOT.![]()

could be as simple as tightening the screws that hold the fuel pumps together.. mine have needed it twice and it completely fixed the fuel starvation problems both times.
