    250 HPDI Fuel Starving???

250 HPDI while running at WOT suddenly bogged down...I stopped and fished, then took off again but the motor would only run about 1/2 speed. Towards the end of the day the motor would not get on plane and sounds terrible...Any Ideas?

Start with DDT, compression check, spark plugs and if it checks out start looking at cleaning and replacing fuel filters if they haven’t been changed recently.

i would replace the inline filter first, that seems to be the one that causes the most problems,, Mechanic said most dont last 150 hrs. (Location is between the high preasure pump and the shinny fuel bowl)
g luck, hope it fixes it

That would be the ever so famous $95 fuel strainer.

I had this happen a few years back. Might not be the same deal but mine was fouling out the plugs due to the thermostats being stuck open. I guess she just ran too cold and everything would foul and shut down. Factory technician spent weeks on it. He finally found it and said a little trash was the culprit. Just another possibity.
