75.2 is my best at 4pm in the heat of the day. I did raise the motor another 1/2" and gained more speed. BassCat how much more is in the boat??? Also, there was some aiding current but feel if I ran early in the morning at 72° it would equal that out. I'll revisit this sometime next week. I can't imagine what this boat is going to do in the fall with cooler morning temps. Yikes!!! Also, it seems the boat is riding even better with the motor raised. Does this make sense? Also, I really am liking sitting lower in the boat. Way less wind effect in the face...... Vrooooommmm.... BassCat you got one heck of a boat. Also, I do have to give kudos to my VmaxSHO 200 motor. I have 10 hours on the motor and can't say enough positives. The Fury is working awesome too. I just got my plugs in today for the Merc Tempest Plus. Next week I'll put it to it's paces.
