Posting for a buddy do yamaha has a new fuel line ,for this new e-gas. I know mercury has a new epa approved gas line which is oem line. Has any one has any problem with there line breaking down ?

mine was pretty nasty ,so i went ahaead and just bought some by the foot at the local dealer and replaced it,,Im sure yammy offers a kit and bulb for the new gas though but ive never really looked,I replaced mine for under 25 bucks fittings and all
Get the EPA line from Don Weed at http://www.europeanmarine.org in the Mercury Motor Section. He sells it by the foot and it comes in 3/8 and 5/16 and get the primer bulb when you order it. Yamaha motors don't know if it is Mercury Gas Line or Yamaha Gas line and Primer Bulb. I have replaced both the 3/8, 5/16 fuel line and Primer Bulb with his Fuel Line and it works great and I don't have to worry about the ethanol fuel rotting the fuel lines out.
